How SUNfarming Began
A leading German utility-scale solar company, backed by a world-class track record in solar PV development.
Founded in 2004, SUNfarming began as a purchasing association, EPC and planning company, soon establishing its own quality labels for solar modules. From the very start, our vision was clear: to develop large-scale solar PV projects that would shape Europe’s renewable energy landscape.
In 2010, we installed our first megawatt-scale project in Germany — a milestone that marked the beginning of our international expansion. Over the years, our commitment and expertise have enabled us to deliver more than 700 MW of solar PV projects across Europe.
What sets SUNfarming apart is our fully integrated platform: from project development through to construction, O&M, and asset management, we ensure every stage of the solar lifecycle is managed with precision and care. Today, our focus extends beyond energy production to Agri-PV and animal welfare solar solutions, creating dual-use benefits for both farmers and communities.
In 2025, we became a part of the Cube Green Energy Group, combining our strengths to accelerate the transition toward 24/7 renewable power and positioning SUNfarming for its next chapter of success.
