Innovation in fruit growing: The SUNfarming Umbrella System

SUNfarming flowering mixture for biodiversity PV
At the SUNfarming Research and Development Centre in Rathenow, a specially developed wildflower mix was sown beneath Agri-PV systems, enhancing biodiversity and soil quality. With over 40 regional species and improved water management through rainwater distribution, the project demonstrates how solar energy and ecological land use can go hand in hand. The certified mix is now available commercially.
